A Business Unit is carved out and reinvents itself
Starting Point
Jointly with two other business units, the air treatment business of GEA Group was carved out in 2014 and taken over by the European financial investor Triton. A stand-alone identity and corporate communications had to be established at short notice.
Measures
We developed a logo and corporate design for our client and thus created the prerequisites for a strong brand. Jointly with the management, we established tools such as an Intranet, a website and newsletters for internal and external communication. In this way we contributed to managers and employees identifying with their new roles and gained acceptance with external stakeholders.
Results
Managers and employees quickly felt comfortable in their new roles. Customers and other external parties embraced the strategic decision of the takeover and the new brand now has an excellent reputation in the sector.
